I have a problem with the registers of Onnaing. I found the children of the marriage Pierre COROENNE x Guillemette DELATTRE at Geneanet:

If I look up the children I see exact death dates:

Jeanne: Deceased 31 May 1690 - Onnaing
Pierre "Le Vieux": Deceased 24 July 1689 - Onnaing
Nicolas: Deceased 5 February 1694 - Onnaing
Jacqueline: Deceased 13 March 1691

The problem: Where are these dates from? The Onnaing registers at https://archivesdepartementales.lenord.fr/ start in 1697.

Is anybody able to enlighten me with that mystery?

I've found now the dates in the Onnaing MS 1697 - 1735 book! But one more problem: How to prove that these all are children of Pierre COROENNE and Guillemette DELATTRE? Thanks!

According to some people in Généanet, Pierre le Vieux was born in Valenciennes. You can find in the book of Valenciennes ST Géry 1595 1671, the wedding between Pierre CORROENNE and Maria Magdalena BOITTIAUX on the 4th of fébruary 1657 ( page 940/1300) His witness was Nicolas COROENNE

May be you could try and find when he was born in Valenciennes ??? knowing that he died on the 24th of 07 1689 in Onnaing, aged 65, he was born about 1624, so that you could find the names of his parents

I'll try that first. With the dates of Généanet it's often difficult, one has to verify every single entry, it's full of mistakes.
