DADOT X DIEL, Dieppe (S.M.) donc "hors secteur" Options

I'm trying to find more information about my Hugenote roots.

I'm looking for someone called Jacob Cadot CADOT(and also Francoise
DielDIEL , his wife). He was a sea captain, sailing between Holland and
Curacao. He died before 1718 and would have been born before 1680.

I found his name in baptism records for 4 children in Rotterdam
(1696 - Catherine Cadot, 1699 - Jean Cadot, 1701 - Jacob Cadot)
and Amsterdam (1704 - Jacques Cadot).

I have no record of his marriage or birth/baptism and was wondering if he
was from the North of France (possibly Duinkerken) or even Curacao itself ?

Could anyone point me in the right direction ?
